I just loved the mad black humour of the movie, which clearly didn’t go down well with many others. That didn’t go down well with quite a few people, and some even demanded that I apologize for making the recommendation. I last remember putting out a recommendation in January 2013, when Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola was released. And there is nothing that can be more mindless than that movie. I rarely put out recommendations based on the visual content I watch, simply because, on most days, I like stuff that engages my mind and not the kind of stuff one can watch mindlessly, even though Dulhe Raja remains one of my favourite films.
